We had a large snow fall followed by ice.  When I came to work the next day, there was a "Perfect Curl" waiting.  Looked nice until it warmed up and ice chunks came falling down from 4 stories up.  Nobody was hurt but the steel awning got REALLY banged up.

Our New Screened Porch

Used to be a smaller open deck
We added the sunburst at the top and the arches to the basic design
Now we have easy access to the back of the house
Yes, we live in the woods
The (partial) result of a long quest for furniture

This Spring we finally replaced our small aging deck with a screened in porch.  It's a wonderful place to drink your morning coffee and watch bird TV... or read a book... or work on your laptop.
